General Description of Duties:

The Q&S Specialist will coordinate with the Director of Quality and Standards in order to execute reports for various stakeholders, ensuring relevance, accuracy and timeliness in every report.

Assisting Data Entry with the inputting of information into the local and state systems will reinforce the compliance with monthly benchmarks and deadlines. Assisting the Training Coordinator with diverse trainings will create clear and concise direction for implementing new data collection methods and measures.

Collaboration with Development, Field, Finance and Partnership departments will ensure that the student and campus data collection and reporting process is met with efficacy.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in mentoring, training, and stretch assignments in order to prepare to fulfill duties of the Director of Quality and Standards when necessary

  • Support that checks and balances are being used extensively

  • Process Reports as assigned by Director of Quality and Standards

  • Design and/or enhance reporting systems, as requested

  • Support Data Management within Bluebonnet

  • Support Training Coordinator in offering professional development opportunities

  • Organize accessibility to Intervention Resource Library

  • Communicate and rectify data discrepancies with field staff members

  • Additional responsibilities, as assigned by Director of Quality and Standards

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, MIS, Education or Social Sciences

  • Ability to communicate effectively

  • Exceptional analytical skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Exceptional computer/technical skills (Word, Excel, Access, Adobe Acrobat, Survey Monkey)

  • Strong interpersonal skills
