Intern for CIS
CIS provides a limited number of internships to undergraduate and graduate students.

Volunteer
CIS works closely with community volunteers to meet the needs of its students and their families. Each year, almost 2,000 volunteers for CIS provide thousands of hours of service worth more than 1.4 million dollars to help empower kids to stay in school.
CIS has ongoing volunteer opportunities in many elementary, middle and high schools, as well as in its Central Office. Volunteer opportunities include:
Tutoring in math, science, and reading
College preparation
Employment/Job Preparedness
Mentoring

Become a Partner
CIS views a partnership as a significant relationship with an individual, group or organization such as a businesses, faith-based institution, college, community group, etc. Your organization/company may wish to support one of our campuses with one activity or multiple activities or visits that will impact the students; ultimately leading to academic success for students.
PARTNERSHIP LEVELS
Partners can provide the fundamental support needed to bridge the gaps between underachieving and academic success. The time invested as a partner will also allow Communities In Schools to leverage and maximize resources and limit possible duplication of services.
CIS is seeking organizations who wish to make significant contributions that will impact the lives of our youth. There are three kinds of partners:
LEVEL ONE
Sign up for one or two activities. If your organization is not yet ready to commit to three or more activities, we ask you to identify the one or two that you are most interested in doing.
LEVEL TWO
For organizations making this commitment, the Strategic Partnerships Department will help match your interests to a specific school and then work with you and the school to develop a partnership plan.
LEVEL THREE
This type of relationship involves multiple structured activities with students on the CIS campus and includes in-kind or financial support to the partnership plan
