Donate to Provide Shoes & Sports Equipment for CIS Students

Please consider making a gift to CIS of Houston today to make a difference in the lives of Houston’s students:

$1,000 provides one-on-one mentoring and individual academic support for 50 CIS students
$500 hosts workshops to assist with resumes, college apps, financial aid for 30 CIS students
$250 provides financial and computer literacy classes to 20 CIS parent

Every day, thousands of students across Houston face overwhelming roadblocks to their academic and personal success, such as hunger, homelessness, untreated medical needs, trauma, or a lack of the basics, like school supplies and clothing. Schools cannot tackle these challenges alone. Communities In Schools of Houston exists to provide direct support and bring community resources primarily into underserved schools. This allows students to focus on learning and keeps those at greatest risk of dropping out in school and on the path to graduation.
