Communities In Schools of Houston (CIS) proudly marks 46 years of empowering students to succeed. In the 2024-2025 school year, CIS served over 118,000 students across 135 campuses, achieving a 98% student retention rate and a 97% grade promotion rate.

Fueled by the dedication of our campus-based staff, CIS provides critical support to help students overcome barriers and thrive. To deepen this impact, we’ve launched a $10 million Capacity Campaign to expand mental health programming and strengthen our presence in schools for years to come.
