Become a Partner

CIS views a partnership as a significant relationship with an individual, group or organization—such as a business, faith-based institution, college, or community organization—working together to support student success. Your organization may choose to engage with a campus through a single activity or ongoing involvement, providing experiences and resources that positively impact students and help them achieve success in school and beyond.

Partnership Levels

Partners provide the essential support that bridges the gap between student potential and student success. Partners enable Communities In Schools to maximize resources, strengthen community connections, and reduce duplication of services.

CIS seeks organizations committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of students. There are three partnership levels:

LEVEL ONE

Sign up for one or two activities. If your organization is not yet ready to commit to three or more activities, we ask you to identify the one or two that you are most interested in doing.

LEVEL TWO

For organizations making this commitment, the Strategic Partnerships Department will help match your interests to a specific school and then work with you and the school to develop a partnership plan.

LEVEL THREE

This type of relationship involves multiple structured activities with students on the CIS campus and includes in-kind or financial support to the partnership plan
