For over 20 years, CIS of Houston has partnered with UTHealth’s Houston School of Dentistry Program to create a day long ‘preventative and restorative dental healthcare’ program. CIS identifies and coordinates the travel for over 200 students from across 6 ISD’s of Greater Houston, bringing them to the UTHealth site for much needed dental care. Come meet the care givers, CIS staff, and see the grateful smiles of Houston students!

CIS Job Readiness Fair at the Alief Center for Technical Development

For over 10 years, CIS of Houston has partnered with Houston area school districts to provide a day long program to promote career opportunities, resume building, interview skills, and conversations with potential employers for full-time and internship positions. CIS identifies and coordinates the travel for over 500 High School students and coordinates a robust range of activities at the readiness fair site. Students interact with Houston area employers, professionals, volunteers, and mentors. Come attend the workshops, participate in the interview sessions, or provide a talk about your elected office!
