We strive to provide the highest quality integrated student support program at each campus. We also want to ensure that our program participants are treated with the respect and dignity that they deserve daily.
CIS PARTICIPANT RIGHTS
You have the right to accept or refuse to be a participant in the CIS Program.
You have the right to receive an explanation of your rights in clear, understandable language both in verbal discussion and in a written document.
You have the right to be told about CIS Program guidelines, rules and regulations before participating in any activities of the CIS Program.
You have the right to confidentiality, the protection of your privacy and informed consent, which includes important exceptions. These exceptions include: (a) if you are suspected of being in danger to yourself or another person; (b) if a child or dependent adult is suspected of being in danger or has been harmed; (c) if you request your records to be released to someone; (d) requirements per state and/or federal law and/or district policy or (e) if a court orders that we disclose your information and records.
You have the right to a safe environment, and to be treated with dignity, respect, in a fair manner, free from abuse, neglect and exploitation.
You have the right to be informed of any other appropriate services that might be helpful for your well-being and success.
You have the right to be informed of any change in services that might be helpful for your well-being and success.
You and your family have the right to receive CIS Program Services that are available to students within each campus community without discrimination.
If you feel you have been treated in a manner inconsistent with these rights, you have the right to make a complaint to the program staff (Student Support Manager or Program Manager) and/or the Human Resources Director at 713-654-1515.

DERECHOS DE EL PARTICIPANTE DE CIS
Usted tiene el derecho de aceptar o negarse a participar en el programa de CIS.
Usted tiene el derecho de recibir una explicación de sus derechos en una forma clara y comprensible que incluya la discusión verbal y por escrito de dicho documento.
Usted tiene el derecho a ser informado acerca de las guías, reglas, y regulaciones de CIS antes de participar en las actividades del programa de CIS.
Usted tiene el derecho a la confidencialidad, a la proteccion de su privacidad, y al informe de consentimiento, el cual incluye excepciones importantes. Estas excepciones incluyen: (a) si hay sospecha que estas en peligro, ya sea tú u otra persona; (b) si un niño/niña o un adulto dependiente se percibe estar en peligro o que haya sido lastimado; (c) si usted pide que sus registros sean otorgados a otra persona; (d) requisitos según la ley estatal y/o federal y/o la política del distrito o (e) si la corte ordena que nosotros entreguemos su informacion y sus registros.
Usted tiene el derecho a un ambiente seguro, y a ser tratado con dignidad, respeto, con modales justos, libre de abuso, negligencia y explotación.
Usted tiene el derecho a ser informado de otros servicios apropiados que puedan ser de gran ayuda para su bienestar y éxito.
Usted tiene el derecho de ser informado de cualquier cambio en los servicios que podrían ser de gran ayuda para su bienestar y éxito.
Usted y su familia tienen el derecho de recibir los servicios del programa de CIS que estén disponibles para los estudiantes dentro de cada comunidad escolar sin ser discriminados.
Si usted piensa que ha sido sujeto a un trato en una forma inconsistente con dichos derechos, usted tiene el derecho de poner una queja con personal del programa (Student Support Manager or Program Manager) o con el Director de Recursos Humanos a 713-654-1515.
